Today's Featured Biography
Amanda Denton Wagner
After graduating from LCHS I attended The University of Tennessee at Knoxville where I was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. I graduated in 1999 with a BS in Communications with a degree in Journalism and a concentration in Public Relations. While at UT I was able to live with Aimee Tolley, now Aimee Wade, who will always be one of, if not, my Very Best and Closest Friend. We enjoyed every minute of our time at UT!!
In June 2000 I married David Wagner, originally of Kingsport, TN. He played football at Maryville College and went on to teach and coach football at LCHS. He started out as an Assistant Coach for the Panthers and taught at Lenoir City Middle. Shortly before our wedding, he was named Head Football Coach at LC. Thus began my ride as a "Coach's Wife!!" Its been strange, difficult and wonderful all at the same time and I wouldn't trade a minute of it.
I worked as a Recruiter and Financial Aid Administration at Tennessee Institute of Electronics in Knoxville from 2000-2001, then took a job at the new Roane State Campus in Lenoir City. I worked there for about a year, until our daughter Mackenzie was born, and now I am a Stay At Home Mom-loving every minute of it!!
David enjoyed his time at LCHS, but we decided it was time to make a move and in the Summer of 2003 we moved to Elberton, GA. In the HEART of UGA Country!!! Not easy being a Vol Fan down here, but we are holding our own!!
In April of 2004 I had our second child, William Jackson-which leads us to today!
