Today's Featured Biography
Melisa Witcoff Wells
Jim and I got married in December of 1986...while he was in the Navy I finished my Elementary Ed. degree at Old Dominion University, which I actually never used (except that I've been a Religious School teacher on Sundays for 8 years). We moved from Norfolk, Virginia to Kenosha, Wisconsin (while Jim was on shore duty in Great Lakes, Illinois). When Dylan and Jason came along, Jim left the Navy and we moved here, to Naperville, and never left. It's a fun place to live, and since I'm originally from the south suburbs of Chicago, it's awesome to be back. (Jim still lobbies daily for a move to the Southwest. He hates snow.)
I currently teach five group fitness classes each week and am the part-time Salon Coordinator for a friend's upscale nail salon. I take care of all of the marketing, some accounting, and various other tasks. I create custom invitations and notecards occasionally as a hobby. I'm trying to get a couple of things published along the way, and trying to keep everything organized here at home.
We just celebrated Dylan's Bar Mitzvah this past July 2, and now we're just "digging out" from the mass chaos that has been in the air for the last year that we've been preparing for it!!
I would absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear from anyone, as I am extremely sentimental and, as Jim and Kate (Patton) Atchley would tell you, in some ways "Stuck in the '80's". :) ha ha
