Rudy Carver
Rudy's Story
Please look at my bulletin board for my latest update!!!!! I moved to Clinton from Oak Ridge the summer of 1963 and graduated in 1964. My sister was Patsy Carver, now Griffing, who graduated in 1966. My cousins were Charles and Becky Carmichael"now Rochelle." My picture was not in the year book because of when I started school at Clinton HS. After high school I joined the Air Force and was stationed at Myrtle Beach AFB, SC "Tough assignment, Ha!", the Phillippines, Bien Hoa Vietnam, and the Air Force Academy. After that, my wife Ginger and two kids moved to Johnson City, TN, where I graduated from East Tenn State Univ. with a degree in social worker. From there I went into full time Christian ministry. I was on the staff of a ministry called Campus Crusade for Christ from 1977 to 1980.I have been mainly involved in counseling and helping orphans in third world countries: Cuba, Guatemala, Columbia, Venezuela, Siberia and other parts of Russia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Turkey,Honduras, and Mexico, etc. Last time I counted I had visited around 40 countries. I do some Christ-centered marriage and family counseling. I am retired. We currently lived in Phoenix, AZ. My daughter Michele and her family live near us. My son Ben and his family live near us. He is a Phoenix police officer. I love to spend time with my precious wife of 46 years, camp, hike, jog, spend time with friends, read, see movies, listen to music and trying to make contact with friends from the past.
