Today's Featured Biography
Susan Pennel Lamb
After graduation, I went to Watertown Business University and then went to work in Sidney, Nebraska for Safe-Play, Tuf-Wear Manufacturing Company as a bookkeeper.
In 1977, I moved to Laramie, Wyoming to work for the University of Wyoming. I met Don (who works in construction mainly building bridges) while in Laramie. We married in 1980 and moved to Lyons, Colorado in 1981. We have three sons, Greg (36 - creates games for gaming systems), John (30 - works with Don building bridges), and Josh (32 - has Down Syndrome and keeps us all entertained at home.)
Long story short...we ended up in the Austin area of Texas. I worked in the development office at Southwestern University for 9 years and then for the past 8 years I have been in the academic affairs department in the Dean of the Faculty's office. SU is a small private liberal arts university in Georgetown.
We now have four grandchildren: Kenley (12), Winter (9), Charlie (4), and Billie (2). We spend a lot of time boating on Lake Travis, teaching kiddos how to ride the tube and water ski!
