After graduating from LR, I completed my freshman year at Newberry College, majoring in music with a concentration in pipe organ. In August of 1966 John and I got married and I transferred to USC where I graduated with a BA in Education, Library Science. Since that time, I earned a Masters degree in Library Media Technology and a Masters in Educational Leadership.
After 10 years in the business sector and 30 years in public school education (including 3 years as an adjunct professor at Georgia State University), I retired in 2011 and love not having to set the alarm every morning!
Son John, IV (born in 1968), married to Donna, graduated from The Citadel with a BS degree in Finance and is a pilot and Major in the Army. Daughter Catherine (Nunziata) (1974), married to Nick, graduated from Emory University with a BS in Nursing. She also has a Masters in Nursing and is a Nurse Practioner.
We have four beautiful and brilliant (aren't they all!) grandchildren: Steven Wall, 16; Courtney Wall, 9; Sofia Nunziata, 11; Rocco Nunziata, 5. We are so blessed that they all live in the Atlanta area.
I still play the piano for enjoyment and have served as organist in various churches through the years. We love to travel here and abroad and I can always be found with my Kindle and several books nearby.
I'm really looking forward to reconnecting with old friends at the reunion. Hope to see you there!
