Today's Featured Biography
Deatru Ladson Simuel
Hello all. I am Deatru Ladson~Simuel now. I started working in the Month of July 1996 at Nations Bank as a proof operator. I worked at several banks part time throught out the years and worked full time at Southeastern Freight Lines for almost 6 years. Had to stop working in October of 2004. I was put on Bed rest due to being pregnant with my twin boys. Due to complications...I had to have an emergency (C-Section) on October 20,2004. Ethan and Elijah were born!! I was 28 weeks at that time, so, my babies were very pre-mature...which caused them to have alot of health problems. It's a looooong story but, they are doing much better now!! They still have some issues going on, but we believe God is going to complete the work he has started in their lives!! My fiance' and I joined as one on January 12, 2006. We did not have the "traditional" wedding, my dad was dieing (he was diagnosed with Renal Cancer in 2004) so we had a small ceremony right next to him lieing in bed) I WANTED MY DAD THEIR WHEN I BECAME MARRIED)and he was! I am so grateful he was there....the next day January 13,2004 my dad passed away....No, my future did not turn out quite like I thought it would..but I would not change it, because, the things that I have been through taught me so much more about life and how you should treasure each day with your family and true friends and making sure your life is RIGHT with GOD because you never know what the future holds for you. My husband and I are not working as of 10-10-06 due to the care our twins require, but GOD has really been taking care of us and we are so GRATEFUL!! God Bless you all and your families!!! This is my story for now, but we are expecting better things for the future!!
