I graduated from West Point in 1966 and completed an MA in Organizational Behavior and Communications from University of Kansas in 1975. I served in US Army over 27 years, graduated Command and General Staff College and Army War College. I had two combat tours in Vietnam and other tours in Germany, Virginia, Kansas, Oklahoma and Washington. I commanded 2-18 Field Artillery Battalion at Fort Sill, Oklahoma from 1984 to 1986. My last six years were with the Army Staff in the Washington, DC area, where I retired as a colonel in 1993. I then worked as Executive Vice President of Crosby International, Inc., an international defense consulting firm, from 1993 to 2003. I later worked for Sage Associates as a defense consultant from 2003 to 2009. I retired from the active work force in 2009 to take care of my ailing parents.
I married Ellen Knowles Wignall in 1966. We had two children, Darrell Robert and Karen Michelle. Ellen graduated from Penn State University in 1966 and recently retired from teaching in elementary school in Panama City, FL. We divorced in 1985.
My son Darrell has his undergraduate from the University of Florida and graduate degree from South Florida University. He is currently an Assistant Principal at Monroe Middle School in Tampa. He married Cheryl Dunn in 1995 and they have two boys: Cameron (9) and Peyton (5). They live in Land O' Lakes, FL.
My daughter Karen has her degree also from the University of Florida. She married Steve Williams, also a Florida graduate, in 1994 and they have two boys: Grant (15) and Luke (11). They live in Longwood, a suburb of Orlando where Karen is Ministry Coordinator at St Peters Episcopal Church in Lake Mary, and Steve is a Program Manager for Florida Stainless.
In my retired life I am active in Pohick Episcopal Church where I serve as a Lay Minister, sing in the choir, serve as head usher and participate in several other activities. I am also the treasurer for and sing with the West Point Alumni Glee Club, which I helped establish in 2007. We sing traditional patriotic and inspirational music in a number of different venues, especially those that benefit our veterans and wounded warriors. In my spare time I enjoy hunting, fishing, cooking, golf on occasion and drinking good wine.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
