Hello All,
I've lived in Princeton Junction, NJ for the past 30 years. Have been married for 35 years to Janet, an elementary school teacher in Princeton. After leaving the life of a Golf Professional(at Buck Hill) and Ski Instructor(at Mt. Airy Bump), I was asked to join an upstart company selling Canon office equipment in New Jersey. Moved to Manasquan(on the Jersey Shore) previous to my current home. I was in the the office equipment business for over 20 years, going from sales to upper management to business principal. In 2001, I was asked to join a local car dealership to sell automobiles. I sold Jeep, Subaru and KIA brands, along with pre-owned cars and trucks and enjoyed the experience. Last year, I, along with the one of the previous principals of the dealership I worked for, formed MyDXPro. Website; www.mydxpro.com
We work with various Auto Dealerships throughout the Delaware Valley, recruiting and training their sales consultants.
I have 3 children, Dirk, Jr.(32), LeeAnn(28) and Lauren(27). Dirk, Jr. and his wife Lindsay, live in Sun Valley, Idaho(God's Country) where he has his own recruiting company, specializing in recruiting software engineers for various companies. They recently had their first child, John Paul, born 9/11/13 which makes me a proud Grandpa for the first time. LeeAnn is a PR Executive in NYC for Golin-Harris, working with Lloyds of London, JetBlue, Johnson & Johnson as well as Santander Bank. She was just named in the top "30 under 30" people to watch in Public Relations in the US. This past Summer, she became engaged and they're making wedding plans for next September. My youngest, Lauren, recently became Program Manager for the Appalachian Mountain Club. She is in charge of activities and membership for NYC and North Jersey.
Well, there you have it. Now I'll have nothing to talk about at the reunion. Looking forward to seeing you all.
Oh, one more thing. My golf game is still respectable, but the clubs get very little use anymore. My passion is fly fishing and I frequent the Big Bushkill and other streams in and around the Poconos as well as out west when visiting our son.
