Today's Featured Biography
James Hill
Graduated Lawton High School 1952. Cameron College 1952-1954. U.S. Army January 1954 through 1956. I became an E-5 in Korea in October 1954 as a personal assistant to the KMAG Advisor, Colonel Couch. This Colonel instilled in me the necessity of an education. I was married while stationed in Seattle, WA to Mary Long of Missoula, MT. We returned from Seattle to Lawton and Cameron College. We had our first child, Scherry Christina on December 17, 1956 (two days short of 9 months, for those of you wondering) I transferred to OU Pharmacy School in Norman, OK in 1957. We had our second child, Schelly Irene on Feb 24, 1958.I was accepted to OU Medical School in 1959 and graduated on June 6, 1963. I trained at St. Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City and moved to Carnegie, OK in July 1964. I had an office built to my specifications and practiced medicine and surgery there until July 1982. We had our third child, James Jr. on Dec 7, 1964.In 1968 I divorced my first wife, Mary. I met and married the love of my life, Donna Bryant of Carnegie, OK on July 13, 1970. She had a son, Rick, whom I adopted. Moved to Oklahoma City on July 6, 1982. I did a two year fellowship with William Forrest, a prominant Plastic Surgeon that specialized in Cosmetic Surgery. I had an office readied for me an practiced Cosmetic Surgery at 11208 N Pennsylvania until I retired in September 2003. Our son Rick died in December 1994.My wife and I live in Val Verde addition in Oklahoma City. I ride my Honda Goldwing Motorcycyle and fly my airplanes as a passtime. We enjoying traveling.
