Today's Featured Biography
Rita KEARNEY Emmanuel
OCCUPATIONS: Pianist, Modeling, Acting, and Nursing (my greatest desire besides being in church).
PASTIMES: Drawing, photography, lecturing on breast and prostate cancers. Member of Lions Club (providing eyeglasses to people), Eastern Star, Past president of International Training in Communications.
TRAVELS: Las Vegas, CA, NY, and most of Ohio.
MEMORIES: I always loved drama (acting in plays and dancing). Also my many friends, such as favorite artist Aminah Brenda Lynn Robinson - she was in our "Jolly Teens" club, Barbara Jemison, Wynola Hairston (also a nurse), Carolyn Phillips (deceased), Doris Jones.
OTHER: I am the oldest of six children and my parents owned the first colored restaurant on the east side in the 50's across the street from Felton Elementary School. Their names are Mary Kearney who is still living in her home on Country Club Rd. and James Kearney (deceased - 1994); sister Aloma passed away in 1992.
All of the "Jolly Teens" knew what profession they wanted to be and with God's help, all six of us achieved our goals.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
