Richard Grosvent

Well, alot has happened in the last 30 years. Been though two marriages, have 4 children and work two jobs I enjoy.
Shortly after graduation, I moved to the Clay area, worked several jobs looking for the right one that I enjoyed. In that time I met a woman that I married(this was the first one). The marriage didn't last long, actually 7 years, it seems I wasn't really ready to settle down. Out of that marriage came two of the greatest young men that a father would ever ask for. Joshua Richard was born August 11, 1981 and my second son is Joseph Shadrick, born March 7, 1986. Both have grown up to be two son I am very proud of. Joshua graduated from Suny Oswego, later traveled to NYC to follow his career as a stand up comic. He has made a name for himself in the comic world for 5 years. He then realised that it was time to settle down and start a family. He did that in of August 2007 to a very lovely woman, Lindsey. They now reside in the town of Granby. Joshua is now an on-air personality with 93Q(Sunday 10-3). Joe my second son just graduated from SUNY-Ferdona with a major in music. He is presently furthering his career in music(for the time being) with his band "Endive". He is on tour and has plans the settle down with his love, Amber, when she completes school.
Now, let's jump head a couple of years, more like 15. I started a career in the EMS and continue to do so working on Menter Ambulance and the Cody Volunteer Fire Department. I also work at Oswego Hospital, it's been 12 years, and I don't think I could imagine myself working any other place. That is where I also met my present wife/soulmate/BEST Friend, Candida. I call her Dida, so when I refer to her I may use that name. There is nobody that I could be any happier with. We have been married 9 years and have 2 children together, 1 step-son, that has kept me young at heart. First there is Trevor, 13 my step-son. He is in the Oswego Navy Cadets and going to be entering Jr High this fall. Now, the true pleaser in my life are my two youngest, Chris and Maggie. Chris 8, and I am sorry to say, a mini me. He is by my side all the time, from working around the house/yard to watching the NY Rangers play hockey. I truthly regert not having this time with my two oldest boys, but I am enjoying it now. Then there is Maggie, 6, the ONLY girl, she has daddy wrapped around her pinky, and she knows it. She is the one keeping me young. So, that's a little of what has been going on in my life over the last 30 years. I am looking forward to see you all at the class reunion functions. Stay safe.
