Exhilarating News! Many of our classmates have decided that they did NOT want to miss the 50th Dinner & Dance after all, and have sent in their paid RSVPs.
I've received many inquiries, "What does the $100 per person pay for?" Answer: The entire Woodcliff Ballroom, Outdoor Patio, 2 fully stocked Bars (Indoor & Outdoor), Centerpieces, DJ, Photographers, Decorations, Invitations, Postage Expenses, Memory Book, Photo Display, Name Tags. Deceased Classmates "In Memory" Displays, Photo Booth, AND the most delectable food selections, namely, Served Appetizers, 6 Food Stations, including Carving, Grazing, Desserts and Hot Beverages. Bring your appetite, as we are hosting an extensive array of Vegan and Non Vegan ~ something tasty for everyone! Believe me... you're getting your money's worth, AND a "once in a lifetime" 50th Class Reunion Celebration! It's not too late to RSVP. Hope to see many of you in September. 1:00-2:00 p.m. Fairport High School Tour "MEET at the Back Door Entrance at FHS, 1 Dave Paddock Way. Over the past 50 years, Fairport High School has made many structural, grounds and parking lot improvements. To see all of these changes first hand, you should be part of this FREE Tour. If you're interested in taking the FHS Tour, led by Vice Principal Stephanie Miner, please text Charlene, 50th Class Reunion Secretary, at (585) 755-9765 to sign up.
Fairport Museum & Perinton Historical Society will be OPEN from 2:30-4:30 p.m. From 3:00-4:00 p.m., a Presentation will be held downstairs. Topics: (1) 150 years of Fairport's Commencement history. Our FHS Class of 1975 was the 100th Fairport Commencement, (2) Erie Canal Bi-centennial Anniversary, (3) Tour the Fairport Museum (formerly the Fairport Public Library), 18 Perrin Street Fairport. Feel free to order food or a beverage while enjoying the talented band "Skyway" (Featuring our classmate Gary Marra as Lead Singer). Skyway will be performing songs you will know and love to listen to, sing along with or dance to your heart's content. Guest vocalists and musicians from the FHS Class of 1975 are welcome AND encouraged to join Skyway! There is no cover charge.
There will be three Very Special Guests joining us at the Woodcliff, namely, Judy (Toft) DuPre and Jerry Estes (both were our FHS Class of 175 Advisors), and English Teacher & Swim Coach Bob Shaw!
