After HS, I went to NMSU, met and partied with a lot of Norteños who use to be our “rivals” and of course, those from EVHS who also went to State…what a blast! I also started dating Matthew Zamora my 2nd semester there (he is from the Class of ’93 you may recall). Oh, ya, and I did also earn a BS in Mechanical Engineering while I was there, graduated in ’98 :-)
We had a son, Ryan Anthony (just turned 10!) during my last years of college born in ’97. Thanks to all our good friends for helping us out with Ryan, we couldn’t have done it without you – Melon, Carla, et. al. Ryan is the most wonderful son and is mama’s boy for sure ;-)
After graduating, Matt and I started applying for jobs and got “package offers” from the East to the West Coast and in between…we chose in between and moved to Tucson, AZ where we both work as Mechanical Engineers at Raytheon Missile Systems. It is HOT here, but I think I’m used to it, not really, but it beats Phoenix. In 2001, I married my love and some of you were at our Reception. We go to NM several times a year since we both have family there and get to see some of you occasionally…would like to see more of you more often. It is only an 8 hr drive to Espanola, so no matter where you all are at you should drive to Tucson sometime!
In 2004, we were blessed with our daughter, Karly Rianna (just turned 3!), she’s a mini-me, but tends to be a daddy’s girl. She keeps her big brother very busy and he is absolutely great with her.
Class of ’94 let’s get started on our 15-year reunion ’09!
