Today's Featured Biography
Petra Mora Sanchez
After serving 5 yrs active duty in the Air Force,(87-90 in Biturg, Germany; 90-91 at FE Warren AFB, Cheyenne, Wyoming), I served another 5 1/2 yrs in the Air National Guard (In the Cheyenne ANG, most of the time commuting back and forth from NM). I Married my second husband Anthony in Nov. 1993 and we have three children, four altogether(one from my first marrigage). Since graduating I've gone to college, and have worked at H&R Block here in Belen for the past 7 tax seasons; however, I've been doing taxes for almost the entire time since graduation.
Look forward to seeing how we've turned out over these past 20 years! WOW! Where has the time gone?!
I still write poetry from time-to-time and have had a couple of poems published in my base newspaper.
By the way, if you are in the Belen or Las Maravillas area, and you order a pizza for delivery from Pizza Hut, don't be surprized if I happen to show up at your door! I've been working for Pizza Hut for almost 2 years now (gets me out of the house for a couple of hours a day and not bad for extra cash either, he,he!). I've mentioned the reunion to a few of our classmates along with delivering their pizza. It's also not a bad way to keep in touch with alot of my tax clients, at least they know how to get ahold of me in the event of a tax question or two.
Anyway, hope to see as many of you guys at the reunion as possible, you never know what may prevent us from making it to the next one. See ya soon. Pet
