Today's Featured Biography
Cheryl Conway
Our family left Albuq. right after graduation and I have lived most of my adult life in the Springfield, Mo. area. I attended a small Baptist college for one year and married in '72. I didn't get a formal education but learned a great deal from the school of life. Most of my career was spent in advertising sales.
I am single, mother to one surviving daughter, Julie, who is the light of my life. She was inspired to become a doctor (Radiologist) after her younger sister Melissa died of Cystic Fibrosis in 1985. Im so proud of her - she is an amazing woman. My darling granddaughter, Simone, is 14 and her amazing brother, Seth, is 11. They live in Spokane, WA - I enjoyed living in Spokane near them for 4 years, but have recently moved back to MO. My dad is turning 90 in August-
I�m living near him to help out when needed.
I have attended several of our class reunions and look forward to the 51st! I have stayed in touch with my dear friend, Ruth Moser Bidewell and have been able to visit her several times.
I had so much fun being a member of the Highlanders drill team and still love dancing - now I'm a ballroom dancer. Other hobbies include reading, crossword puzzles, hiking, tennis, golf, snow skiing and spending time with family and friends.
I loved living in Albuquerque; I still miss the climate and the mountains. My motto for life is: every day is a gift - that's why they call it "the present".
