Today's Featured Biography
Janet Lewis Cooley
After high school I attended UNM, married, had 2 children, and worked at Public Service Co. I was single 8 years, raising my daughters and then in 1990 married Bill Cooley. Since then, his career in the Air Force has taken us to Ohio, Albuq., Germany, Alabama, Washington DC, and Boston, Ma. My 3rd daughter was born in Ohio and will graduate from high school in June. I finished my undergrad at Wright State Univ. in Ohio and completed my teaching certification at UNM. I have taught elementary school and substituted in the various cities where we have lived. I am also grandmother to 2 year old, Owen and 3 week old, Alice! Their mother, Kelly, is a teacher in Texas and my middle daughter, Katherine, will graduate from American Univ. (DC) Law School in May. Rachel, our youngest, is currently in that stressful time of deciding where she will attend college. Interestingly enough, we will be moving back to Albuq. in July as my husband will be taking a command at Kirtland. I am very excited to be returning home and plan to attend the reunion!
