Hello to all my former classmates! Since graduation, I attended Boston Conservatory of Music and the University of Hartford. I graduated from the University of Hartford with a B.A. in Communication Arts, and now I work for one of the largest communications companies in the world.
In the real world, I proofread for both Prentice Hall and Cableview, waitressed in NYC and NJ, and sold Avon and Discovery Toys. I found the River Edge Post Office in 1988 and became a letter carrier; I transferred to Maine in 1992 where I became a clerk in the beautiful lakes and mountain town of Rangeley. After Rangeley, I went to Freeport, home of LL Bean, and then Greene, where I have lived since 1995 with my wonderful companion, Norm Scott. I am now a Retail Specialist in the Marketing Department for the USPS District of Maine, a job which I was awarded in 1998.
I love to travel, both domestically and internationally. Favorite places I've been include Australia, New Zealand, California, Arizona, Alaska, Antigua, Montserrat, Mazatlan (Mexico), and a few places in Canada (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Quebec). Norm and I are looking forward to going to Cozumel in January.
Although I realized (or at least convinced myself) that I was not good enough to become a "professional" musician, I still play piccolo and flute in a very good adult concert band, a community orchestra, and pit orchestras for community theatre and high schools. Other hobbies of mine include boating (as long as somebody else is "driving") and cross-country skiing when there's good snow and we have time. We also try to get down to NJ/NYC a couple of times a year for fun; we always see a couple (or more) Broadway shows when we are down there.
At home, we have a cat named Peanut Butter. Norm has three adult children and seven grandchildren (soon to be eight) who all live in Maine and keep us entertained.
I'm looking forward to October 11!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
