Today's Featured Biography
Carol Fehr Davis
After high school, I attended the University of Nebraska where I majored in Journalism. I was the Assistant Advertising Manager for the Daily Nebraskan Newspaper, held executive offices in Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, was a Phi Kappa Psi Little Sister and Sweetheart and very involved on campus. I was recuited by Arrow Electronics from college, and moved to Dallas. Debbie Smejdir moved with me, and we have lived in Dallas since 1984. I sold computer memory chips for Toshiba for 6 years and met my husband, Gary, who worked for a competitor. We were married in Lincoln in 1988. We have two children, Sheridan, who is a freshman at University of Southern California and a son, Connor, who is a sophomore at a boys college prep school. I left Toshiba to be a full time Mother, but then started my antiques and art business. I am co-owner of C&J MexImports, we specialize in art and high end pottery from Mexico. I have been very active in the community, serving as Junior League President, on the boards of the YWCA, American Heart Association, Chamber of Commerce and CASA. I miss Nebraska but do not miss the weather. God has blessed me as life has been good!
