I was married for 43 years to Roy (1971), he passed February 2014 after a 10 month battle with brain cancer. I retired from the Douglas County Health Department after 11 years in November 2015 and built a condo in Gallatin Tennessee which is just outside of Nashville I spend the summer months on my property at the Platte River, just south of Springfield. My mother and sister still live in Omaha as well as my daughter Steph and my grandson Logan. My daughter Bethany lives in Gallatin not far from me and my granddaughter Shay lives in Madison Tennessee.
It's has taken some time to get used to all the changes in my life, but I am having a great time!
Update: my daughter Stephanie Mills Pleiss passed away on November 29, 2016 at age 43 due to a blood clot, it was a horrible shock to my family but she was able to be an organ donor and gave extra life to three people. It's a little consultation that there is someone out there that has her heart ;(
