Hey, everyone! 21 years is but a blink in time- but it IS a quarter of our lives! (more or less).

After graduation, I was all set to go to NCSU on an Air Force scholarship. Little did I know what the Lord had in store for me. "Something" (or Someone) kept telling me that this was not the path to take. My dream was to be a Naval officer, so I turned the scholarship down and enlisted in the Navy Nuclear Power program. In Feb. 1986, I returned to North Forsyth for a visit and to attend the 2nd Annual JROTC Military Ball. This is where I met my future wife, Katherine (Class of 86). In 1987, I won an NROTC scholarship, with my choice of schools. By this time (with the help of my fiance), I at least knew to pray about my decision. I was led to go to North Carolina Central University. After my freshman year, Katherine and I were married (1988).

At NCCU, in addition to earning my BS in Mathematics (1991) and taking the W. G. Pearson Prize in Mathematics, I finally learned what it meant to serve the Lord. At the end of my Junior year (April 90), I was working part-time at a convenience store. One night two men entered, robbed the store, shot me in the thigh with a shotgun, and left me for dead. But through it all, The Lord brought me through! Not only was I alive, I yet had the use and activities of my limbs. (But it DID put an end to my Naval career). But more importantly, I learned what my Lord required of me.

After graduating college, I worked at American Airlines while I finished healing. In 1995, I began my secular career with the Postal Service (military service, postal service- I guess I just have to serve :). But, later that same year, I was called into my true career as a minister of the Gospel.

In 2000, I founded the Restoration Association- a voluntary, multiethnic, extraorganizational association of believers from both Jewish and Gentile backgrounds who have resolved to continue in the apostles' doctrine and to contend earnestly for the faith once delivered. I also write for and edit the Association's monthly ministerial newsletter.

With all of that, I still manage to find time to help High School and College students with their Math and Science by jointly running a private tutoring service with my wife of 18 years, Katherine.

I am really looking forward to seeing everyone! Take care and God bless each of you.
