Today's Featured Biography
Chuck Starling
Hey everybody. Where do I start?
After North I got my BS at Appalachian State in Sociology with a minor in Business(just like high school, did more partying than anything else and barely escaped with my degree). Started dating a girl from college six months before I graduated and all my friends were getting married, so I got married too . Ronda-wife number 1. That was a bad decision, we made it for two years and called it quits. At age 26, I realized I was too young to be married. I moved back to Winston in 94 from Greensboro and picked up with Andrew Clarkson and my lifelong friend Jason Napier(both from the class of 86). We had a ball for a few years. Then I met Alison-wife number 2. We got married in 96, moved to Cary and lived there for the next four years( lived down the street from David Keys). Then we moved to Danville, VA. where Alison was from. After 7 years of marriage, a big house at the Danville Golf Club, and a son(Cole, now 7, I thought life was great, then my wife made a big mistake that I could not forgive(I'm sure you all can figure it out)so we split. I moved back to Winston in 2004, started working for Logan Heating and Air(maybe some of you Winston natives have seen my Logan commercial on TV. I should mention that I have working in Sales in HVAC since college.
Now, at age 39, I am single again. Not how I thought I would be living my life at this point, but I still have a great time and live each day to the fullest. All you single ladies should shoot me a email.
The greatest joy of my life is my son, Cole. I drive to Danville every week to see him and he comes to visit me often on the weekends.
Will I ever get married again, who knows??? They say that the third time's a charm. LOL I am content with just being single for now and being as big a part in my son's life as I can.
Hope to see you all in October at the reunion.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
