Camellia Olesen Gunn (January 16, 1941 - June 12, 2011) was born in Reidsville, NC, the daughter of Peder Meldahl Olesen of Skive, Denmark and Eva Regina Adams of Salem, VA.

U.S. Army from 9 Feb 1964 to 9 July 2001
Rank attained: Lieutenant Colonel, Armored Cavalry
Worked in Tobacco Industry and Pharmaceutical Industry from which I retired in 1994
Married in 1980
Member of Sons of Confederate Veterans
Kappa Alpha Order Fraternity [ Ammon Court of Honor and Military Order ]
1959 to 1969:
Served 2 years on active duty on the Iron Curtain in Bad Hersfeld, Germany with the
14th Armored Cavalry Regiment. Assisted in
placing permanent Memorial to Officers, NCO's and Enlisted Personnel of 3rd Recon Squadron [ both 11th and 14th Regiments ] in June 2009.
1966 - 1969 worked for the American Tobacco Company in Reidsville, NC, the Flue Cured and
Air Cured Markets in Georgia, North Carolina, and Kentucky. In 1967 transferred to Cavalla, Greece for 2 years then returned to Richmond, VA in cigarette manufacturing in Fall of 1969.
1970 - 1993 worked in the Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing Sectors and retired from Bristol-Myers Squibb Company in December 1993.
Served in the US ARMY for 28 years [both Active Duty and Reserves retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel.
In retirement have pursued several types of
work in Sales and Marketing plus becoming a
Notary Public where I do some part-time work
for several companies that service home mortgages.
I look forward to May 2014 [when we will be approximately 73 years young ] and to celebrate our 55th High School Reunion.
