Camellia Olesen Gunn (January 16, 1941 - June 12, 2011) was born in Reidsville, NC, the daughter of Peder Meldahl Olesen of Skive, Denmark and Eva Regina Adams of Salem, VA.

Graduate of NC Baptist School of Nursing. Worked 4 years at Wesley Long Hospital in operating room. Married Claude and worked at Rex hospital in Raleigh for 2 years. Moved to Charlotte due to Claude's job. Stay at home Mom for a year. Worked at Charlotte Memorial for 3 months on OB. Moved to Boone for Claude to attend ASU. Worked at Watauga Memorial Hospital in operating room for 3 years. Returned to Reidsville and for 10 years was a domestic engineer, Mom, gardener,animal/bird raiser (at one time we had over 750 animals and birds). I also took care of my ailing mother.
Returned to the work force in 1982 at Annie Penn. After 25 years in the operating room at Annie Penn, I am enjoying retirement on the farm where I grew up. I am living in the house where I was born.
We have 4 grandchildren. Dakota(girl) age 13, Brody age 11 are in Shelby NC. Zane age 11 and Mariah age 9 are in Seattle--too far away.
My hobbies are crocheting and riding the lawn mower. Entering memorials at Apple Chapel Christian Church Cemetery at findagrave.com.
