After graduating Appalachian State University in 1993, Jamie and I married in Feb. 1994. I worked for Rutherford-Polk Mental Health from 1994-1998 as a Home-based Early Interventionist/Case Manager with children with developmental disorders/handicaps/at-risk babies to age 3.
We lived in Forest City until Jamie was called into the ministry and we moved to Salisbury, NC in 1998. Jamie immediately began his Masters of Divinity and Trey was born in January 2000 before he graduated in May. Cade came along 19 months later. We lived in Salisbury for 5 years and in 2003, moved to Lake Norman/Mooresville, NC where Jamie is the Senior Pastor at Rocky Mount United Methodist Church(rockymountumc.com). Heath was a happy surprise in 2006. We love the lake and totally enjoy summer on the boat!
I have recently gone back to work after being home with the boys for 10 years and am a K-3 Exceptional Children/Resource Teacher at my boys' school, Lakeshore Elementary, 5 minutes from our home.
God has truly blessed our marriage, our family and our life!
