Vic and I have been married for 23 years. His son Chris was 5 years old when we got married. We have 4 handsome grandsons! Our Tim is at Appalachian State, as a sophomore Technology Education major. He wants to get his masters and then come back to Hayesville to teach and coach. Christina is a freshman at Western majoring in Psychology. Lauren is in the 8th grade, and Jenna is in the 3rd grade.
I have been teaching in Clay County since August of 1984. I have taught in all three schools and preschool. Currently, I have the severe-profound children in the elementary and middle school settings. I love my job!
In my "free" time, I love to scrapbook.
I am the Local Coordinator for Special Olympics Clay County, and am a certified athletics coach, cheer coach (gold medals at state games last year!), young athletes coach, and basketball coach.
I am also the Service Unit manager for girl scouts in Cherokee and Clay county.
We are active in Meadow Grove Baptist Church here in Hayesville.
Vic is a builder and works for himself.
Needless to say, we stay very busy!
Can't wait to see everyone!!!
