Heather Schley Wagers

I am married to a wonderful man named Eric Wagers. We dated when I was 19 and attending Northwest Missouri State in Maryville, but eventually went our seperate ways. After about 17 years , we and found each other again and decided that this time it was for good! :)

Together we have four children, all living with us, who are the joys of our lives. My children are Hailee and RIcky. Hailee is almost 16 and in the 10th grade Super duper smart and talented. Not very much she can not do. i am so proud of her. Ricky is 10 and in 5th grade. He is a mini me! Looks alot like me and alot like my older brother Rod. He is a Schley for sure! He has a warped sense of humor like me and is super sweet! His smile can light up a room. He is just a really great kid.... all the girls dig him! It;s adorable! :)
Eric has 2 boys as well, Etienne and Lucien so through him I was blessed with 2 incredibly sweet step sons. Etienne is 10 and in he 5th grade. He is really good at art and just a very sweet and caring boy. A little shy and reserved, but he is coming more out of his shell as time goes on. Really great kid! Lucien is 4 and pre K. He is our little ham! He, like Ricky, always has the biggest smile on his face and is always entertaining everyone here, however, you would never know it because he is super shy around people he does not know. His teacher tells me he never talks and I always have to double check we are talking about the same child. LOL. He is a hoot! They are both blessings in my life. We have a houseful, and it's noisy, but it's full of love. :)


My husband, his dad, and his brothers own and operate a Roofing, Building, and General Contracting company in the Kansas City, St. Joseph, and surrounding areas called Wagers Construction. I have spent the past 13 years in the image business. I most recently ran a National Self Esteem campain called
Be Real ... Be True ... Be You... Head 2 Toe! My mom, Sherry, and I started this campaign together in 2007.

Our mission is to help change the stereotypical way the media and society portray real beauty. It's about helping people stop spending their lives chasing after being something or someone that is unrealistic. We educate, enhance, and empower people to love who they are and to embrace their true unique characteristics while inspiring them how to embrace their personal best so they can give the world all the true talents they have to offer with the confidence they deserve.

I am sad to say, that for the past year or so, I have had to put the campaign on hold to be in a place I am much more needed right now. My mom is battling cancer once again, which is so painfully hard to see someone you love go through. Please keep her in your prayers. Additionally, we are all adjusting to a new routine at home with our new expanded family, so needless to say, sometimes things need to be put on hold, but I hope that our message will still spread around into peoples hearts, that was our goal, and I hope to one day be able to continue where I left off. I would love for you all to please continue to pay it forward to anyone you think needs to hear how wonderful they truly are! :) It's such an important message and we all need to be reminded every now and then.

Gosh, aside from that, life is great! I hope that everyone is living life to the fullest and embracing and cherishing each day one at a time.
