Today's Featured Biography
Kriss Gipple Germann
After graduation I attended MU in Columbia, graduated and married my husband Matt (whom I met in college), and then began an exciting life in Washington State. Matt began his career as a Naval officer and I began mine as a second grade teacher in an at risk school.
At the end of six years Matt had been out at sea for almost three years (not consecutive days) and we had moved too many times to count. Weary of the time apart and a new family with two children, we headed into the civilian world and moved to TX, then AZ and finally back home (or as close as we will probably get) where we currently live in Leawood, KS. My husband Matt is an electrical engineer for Burns and MacDonnell.
I now have 15 years of experience teaching first and second grade in both public and private schools, and have completed my master’s degree. I currently work in the Blue Valley school district teaching first grade.
Our children Tyler (13) and Mattie (10) are enjoying school, sports, friends, and are very involved in our church. They keep me busy driving from one thing to the next. Tyler loves the fact that he is already 3 inches taller than his mother.
I can't believe that it has been 20 years already! I am looking forward to reading everyone's bio and hope to see you at the reunion.
