Donna Woolwine Moody

I have been in higher education for about 20 years now. I am a Transfer and Multicultural Student Services Director at Southwestern IL College. I also teach business courses at SWIC and at St. Louis University. I have an adult son who graduated from O'Fallon (IL) High School and attends Maryville University. He is also a Promotions Coordinator for Clear Channel (100.3 The Beat/107.7/104.9 and Gospel 1600). I have had the good fortune to be involved in music through the years. I sing with various jazz bands in the area and have performed a couple of times in Las Vegas. I had a small stint on the local radio station - 106.5 Smooth Jazz right before its format changed to The Arch. I am a Karaoke addict and you can see me around town singing in those types of places too. I am still the high energy person from days gone by and think of my classmates often. My family now besides my son includes one male Rottweiler- Mister, and one black male cat - Boots, and one gray Lexus - female (I figured this would be my only way to have a Lexus - smile). At one time my son thought I was a homeless shelter for dogs. I once had 1 (female) Australian Shephard, the one Rott, the two cats and TWO Pit Bulls (T-Rex - Red Nose and Blanco - yes beautiful white with two brendal patches). Pits arent all bad but they were just getting bigger than me. :)
I was married for 8.63 years to USAF Major (Ret) Michael Moody. :) I used to say that 8.63 years would come into play later. Well it did in 2006 when he retired. I know that might make a few guys mad but I deserved a little piece of the retirement pie (smile). Nonetheless, he lives in Chicago and is remarried. I, on the other hand, have not remarried. I am dating a young man that graduated from U of I with a degree in Engineering AND a MBA however he decided to pursue his passion for music and try his hand in Vegas. I guess he would rather struggle financially and be happy rather than work as an Engineer, make money and be miserable? NOT!! :) I guess everyone has to pursue their dreams. If we ever marry I will let you all know when to come to Vegas!!!
