April Barnes Whitworth

I am a mother of 2 boys Landon (16) and Logan (10). My husband and I have lived in Jackson for 18 years and have been married for 20 years. I work at Southeast Health as a heartnurse in open heart surgery. My boys are very active and tend to keep us busy just about every night with sports, Boy Scouts, homework, friends, etc. My Dad passed away in 2010 but my mMomma is still very actiive and still lives in Charleston. i go home to visit when I can about 2-3 times a year for major holidays and birthdays. Busy lifestyle with the boys and working on call prevents me from visiting as much as I would like. . I still love it there and have fond memories of living there and going to school there. We are avid supporters of Jackson Schools but I still have a soft heart for my dear Charleston High. My husband and kids keep me updated with school activities there as they know I'm very interested. My school memories and friends are extremely dear to my heart. That will never change although it saddens me to see that it has changed drastically since when we graced those halls. Charleston Bluejay for life. Love to all.
