How fast 30 years has passed by. Seems like yesterday. NOT!!! My body is sure telling me that it has been 30+ years. Anyway, here's my story in anutshell.
After graduation (still can't believe I actually graduated) I did what every red blooded American teenage biy does. Drink lots of beer and chase girls. It lasted all about 2 months when Laddie decided that it was time for me to try another career path. GET A JOB!!! I ended up joining the Marine Corps in October of 03. Best move my old man made for me!!! My intent was to get out after 4 years and do what I was doing before...drinking lots of beer and chasing women. The problem was, I could do that where I was at in the Marine Corps. Needless to say, that was my intent 30 years ago. How things change.
After joining and going through 12 weeks of Hell (Boot Camp), I was sent to TN for my aviation training.
I was never a big advocate for flying or sailing, but that's what I've done for 30 years, much to my enjoyment. I've seen alot of the world, been to many countries and served in two wars and wouldn't look back to where I've been and what I've done.
I married a wonderful girl that (Thank God) tightened the reins on me a bit. If it wasn't for her, I'd probably be dead. We've got two wonderful kids that surprise me often by their intelligence. (Are they really mine?)
I retired after 30 years in the Marine Corps last June. I've had a great time. Made some great friends and lost some to. Aviation "IS" inherently dangerous. Whether it was luck or skill, Id hope it was the latter, I survived 3000+ hours flying on one of the finest helicopters in the world.
As of my new career, I work with the same indiviuals that I served with for 30 years. The only difference is that I get to grow my hair longer.
I wish I could have been there last month, but I'm sure all had a great time. That was one of the things I enjoyed most with our class. Everbody just got along!!!!
I'll be back in the area Sep 7th to the 13th and would love to get together with anybody that can. Give me a call

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
