Today's Featured Biography
Judy Wartman Blair
I married Don Schmidt in 1970 when he was in the Air Force at Reese AFB. We moved to Phoenix, I returned to UMM and graduated while he was in Viet Nam, and finally moved to Ft. Walton Beach, FL. We divorced in 1975 and I drove to Anchorage, Alaska with everything I owned in my car and a trailer. I began teaching in 1976 and left the school district in 1990. Mike and I married in 1988. I worked at a private learning center for several years and am now retired. Mike retired from the Air Force and then from the Municipality of Anchorage. We live in Anchorage and have a log cabin on the Kenai River where we spend most weekends. I keep busy quilting, knitting sweaters for homeless kids and slippers for Hospice, giving books to several kids' agencies, food to a local pantry and clothing to homeless kids. (It's a great game to find things on sale so we can afford to help others.) Our daughter, Paige, is an Episcopal priest in Del Mar, CA, and our granddaughter, Josie, was born in April, 2016. And we live in paradise, so life is good.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
