Please join your classmates for another informal luncheon that occurs the 2nd Thursday of odd number months, Jan, Mar, May, July, Sep & Nov.

I went to the U. of Minnesota for 3 years, then moved to L.A., where I earned a B.A. and M.A. at UCLA, got married and became a father for the first time (to my daughter, Angela) in 1967. I then worked for 9 years in DC, LA and Honolulu before attending law school and earning a J.D. at UC Berkeley (Boalt Hall) in 1979. After a judicial clerkship, I joined the law firm of Arnold & Porter in DC, where I practiced until the end of 2013, when I was recruited by classmate Shel Schreiberg to join Pepper Hamilton. In 2015, I switched to Jones Walker, a firm based in New Orleans. I work some but not much these days. My fields are tax, real estate and the financing of economic development in low-income communities. I also am a substitute teacher in the Baltimore County elementary schools (much more fun than law practice!).
I was divorced in 1971 and didn't remarry until 1999. My son Andrew was born at the end of 1999 when I was 57 years old and my wife was 48 (surprise!). He's now 21, just a tad older than my granddaughter, Isabelle. Andrew attends the College of Wooster in Ohio. I also have a grandson named Mathison, age 16. My daughter, son-in-law and grandson just moved from Connecticut to the Boston area, while my granddaughter attends the University of Colorado in Boulder.
My hobbies include music (I sing classical choral music and light opera), golf and bowling. My wife was a fund-raiser for educational and charitable organizations, but now is pursuing painting and drawing.
