Today's Featured Biography
Larry Snyder
GE 30 years - engineer, software manager, international project management (Japan, Korea, Denmark, Spain, France, Germany, England). Retired 1998.
Moved from Milwaukee, WI, (high taxes) to Poplar Grove, IL, (no pension taxes) in 1998 and built a new home. Wendy & Tony moved to Charlotte, NC in Sept 2015. Megan now lives with us to attend college locally (no out-of-state fees).
Resigned after 7 years as Planning Commission Chairman. --- Helped to elect a new mayor and 6 new Trustees in 2007. Ahhhhh. Relief.
Completed Master's Degree #21 (Master's Degrees started in 1977) - (Ham Radio - 3905 Century Club).
Attended the annual Century Club meeting at Natchez, MS after touring 11 states out west. Megan is now up to 32 states while traveling with us and I need only one more -- DE -- for all 50 states.
Working on the family tree and have all branches documented back to Europe except one. Recently restored over 800 old photos. Some were even tin type photos! VERY time consuming!
Wrote a book on "Who Wrote The Bible" with Harper-Collins Christian Books as my publisher. It's not published yet. In "rewrite". "Too dry and engineering-like."
Each day is a blessing and we do our best to enjoy them.
