John and I married Nov. 30, 1970. We lived in Ellsworth, MN. Brian was born in 1971, then to DeSmet, SD for 2 years, then to Bigelow, MN for 6 years. Bought a house in Ocheydan, IA in 1978; been there ever since. In 1978 our daughter Alicia was born.
John was a well digger with Johnson Well Co., then road construction until he retired. He died in 2011.
I worked at Tim's Drive Inn for a few years, then got a job at Sather's in Round Lake, MN for 13-1/2 years. After they closed I worked for Sunrise Farms. In 1999 I started at Chase Bag in Sibley, IA, for 19-1/2 years. I retired in 2016. I'm enjoying my retirement years, keeping busy doing charity work and making home made cards.
