Today's Featured Biography
Eve Schwartzenberger Jenkins
Greg and I have been together since 1981, but have been married since 1989. What can I say? He wouldn't give in! We moved from Belleville to Livonia in 1995 and although I've liked living here, I'm ready to move to the country.
I have my Cosmetology license and worked for many years waitressing and in a salon, then became a stay-at-home mom for 10 years. I started 2 years ago working part-time at my friends salon in Plymouth, but I'm her "executive assistant", as she calls me, and I clean a couple of houses. I still have a horse. He's 22 years old and we are enjoying trail riding. I lost my old 4-H horse in 2004 at 31 years old.
Dan is a sophmore at Livonia Franklin High, and has been on the honor roll for two years. This year, he has earned his Letter in Academics. Jeremy just finished 6th grade at McKinley Elementary...and looking forward to middle school...he wants to be 15 already! Dan is taking four years of German and would like to go to Germany in his senior year. He would also like to get into a sports marketing career or computer software. It's amazing what the schools are offering for classes now. He is trying out for basketball in the fall, and Jeremy will be playing football in the fall. They are both in Boy Scouts. Dan is working on his Eagle ranking and is the Senior Patrol Leader of his troop, and Jeremy is a Tenderfoot, working on his Second Class ranking. Jeremy is also the Safety Captain at school and has been "Safety of the Month" twice.
I have to brag about them because they don't think we are as proud of them as we are...although we always tell them! (Now it's in print for them to see)
We have a 12 year old Persian kitty named Smokey, and our first family dog, a 2 year old Husky-mix named Harlee.
Life is good!
Can't wait to see you all at the 25th.
