Today's Featured Biography
Bryan Hix
After graduation, I attended CMU (Matt Lockwood was my roommate freshman year). I had a blast there, received a B.S. in Biology and went to work for a company selling chemotherapy infusion pumps out of Madison Heights. I transferred 5 months later to Schaumburg, Illinos to cover a 5 state territory. I left InfuSystem in 1999 and built and opened 2 Quizno's subs shops. In 2004 I sold both stores and went back to medical device sales to I-Flow Corp. as a Regional VP of sales selling post-op surgical pain pumps. During my time at I-Flow, I was fortunate to be able to not only visit with, but attend a few surgical cases with Dr. Keith Jacobson and watched him work as we rocked out to metal music in the OR. Last year I left and now work for Conceptus, Inc. as a Regional Business Director selling the Essure permanent birth control system for women. (www.essure.com)
I got married in September of 2002 to my wife Susan and we live in Gilberts, IL (NW suburb of Chicago) with our two kids and our lab, Roy.
My parents retired to Wisconsin and live on a lake up there. We visit them pretty often and in the summer I try to get out on the boat as much as I can.
Besides that, I have pretty much lost touch with everyone from WB besides Keith Jacobson, Roland Kays, and Susan Katz. I am looking forward to catching up with everyone next year.
