Tami Radabaugh Ruiz

After high school, I attended the private, all women's college, College of New Rochelle, in Westchester, NY...just outside of NYC. I graduated with honors in 3 1/2 years in Dec 1994 with a BA in Communications Arts with majors in both Political Science and Broadcast Journalism. (I've always been an impatient person. I enjoy instant gratification. Not the best quality!)

My first job out of college was for IMG (International Management Group), the world's largest sports management and marketing firm in the world. I was an assistant sports agent, primarily with Olympic figure skaters, but also in the golf (before Tiger!) and skiing divisions.

I then left to pursue my broadcasting career...moving up the ladder in local news until I went national. (During that time, I also married my first real boyfriend, Anthony. We got together during our sophomore year of college when I was 19. Oh, so young. Married at the age of 23. Oh, so young. Had our first son at 27 (2000) and our second at 32 (2006).)

In 2004, I helped create, launch and manage CNN's entertainment news show, Showbiz Tonight, on Headline News. I was the Senior Producer until I did the unthinkable...walked away to be a stay at home Mommy for three years.

My boys are the loves of my life!!! Tristyn, age 10, aka Mr. Obnoxiooo and Lukas, age 4, aka Nasty McNasty.

Recently, I've returned to television. I left CNN for the competition...I'm currently a Senior Producer at FOX News with Fox & Friends.

I've got 2 Emmy Awards (3 nominations), a Peabody Award, and a duPont Columbia Award on my resume. I won my first award for 9/11...which was bitter sweet.

In my "spare" time, I enjoy running long distance while listening to music and busting a move or two. I ran my first marathon last year outside of Vegas and I'm signed up for another this year. I also love board games, particularly backgammon, Scrabble, and Clue.

I'm currently also working on a book...It's a work in progress.

I feel like, deep down, I'm still the same Tami as I was at 17, just a 'little' wiser in some ways and not at all in other ways. In life, I'm still muddling through most days trying to keep a smile on my face...and the crow's feet away, but it's not working! ;-)

After 19 years, I can truly say I'm a proud New Yorker! I own a lovely home in the beautiful neighborhood of Forest Hills in Queens, NYC.

High school was such a difficult time for me because of my extremely dysfunctional family life; however, your friendships made that time not only bearable, but truly fun and memorable. Thanks for all the smiles. I'm looking forward to seeing all of you!!!
