It's been busy, interesting and fun since graduation. I went to Barnard College in NYC where I worked in RFK's Senate office until his assassination. Then on to the University of Chicago Law School, a clerkship with the Hon. Wade H. McCree, Jr., of the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and a clerkship with Justice Harry A. Blackmun in our Nation's capital. I then turned to the "real" world and practiced trial and appellate work in a variety of cases with a large Washington firm, taught law, and then settled in with appellate work for the District of Columbia. Many of my cases are available in published opinions. Until recently, I served as Deputy Solicitor General but I finally decided to have more fun with Craig Dean, the wonderful person I married in 1970. Now I work half-time as a Senior Assistant Attorney General, and we divide much of our time between the District and Rehoboth Beach, DE. We are planning broader travels than we were able to enjoy while working more than full time.
