Today's Featured Biography
Lucy Seibert Fairchild
We live in a small town that has grown since we moved here in 1993. It is snuggled against the Oquirrh Mts.
We are about 30 miles north west of Salt Lake City.
My husband works as a long haul trucker. And I did too, for 13 yrs. Its not so hard, like driving a car.
I have 3 daughters. One lives in Texas, two in Utah, not far from me. They have 13 children among them.
My husband has 6 children, and they have 10 children among them.
We have traveled all across the U.S. and into Canada. We went on vacation via the trucking company.
I am on Social Security. But, I do sub for the local school district. There are 8 elementary schools within 10 minutes or less from our house.
I also go to the Senior Center that is within 3 blocks from the house. They offered a free computer class Sept 2007. After that 6 month class, they offered another more advanced computer class, also free for six months. But, that doesn't mean I know everything about the computer. Those classes just helped me click on to the computer. I was one of those late starters kicking and screaming into the next century.
