Today's Featured Biography
Sandra Oosterhouse Schreur
Hi everyone! I am glad to hear about the reunion and am looking forward to being there. I can't believe that it has been 20 years already! Sometimes it feels like 10 and othertimes, a lifetime ago. In Oct. of 1988 I married my best friend Jim Schreur. After graduating from G.V.S.U with a teaching degree, I taught for a year and then had my oldest daughter. I didn't want to miss any of her life so I became a stay at home mom which, after 5 more kids, has been a most wonderful choice. I homeschool all of them which has been challenging but very rewarding. We live on a 30 acre farm and have raise dairy goats, boer goats, horses (I have a bunch of girls, you know)cows, pigs, chickens and of course, dogs and barn cats. We legally sell raw goat and cow milk, eggs, and grass fed chicken and beef. I also just began an in-home bakery and am looking forward to setting up for the third year at the Marshall farmer's market selling fruits, veggies, baked goods and herbs. As a family our newest venture is doing foster care for infants 0-2. That has really kept things hopping here! If you are ever going to be in the area email me and stop on by! See you in August!
