Today's Featured Biography
Brandt Coppock
Wow, I can't believe that our 20th class reunion is right around the corner! Boy do I feel old! I am really looking forward to it.
After graduation in '88, I attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL. I was studying to become an airline pilot.
In my senior year of college, I realized that if I was going to eventually get married and have kids, being a commercial airline pilot probably wasn't the best career choice for being around to see all of the important milestones being a Dad and husband have to offer. I still have my pilot's license and absolutely love to fly!
I worked for Office Depot as a stocker throughout college and continued working with them when I returned to GR in 1992. I progressed through the proverbial career ladder and became a store manager with Office Depot in Benton Harbor, Christmas Eve 1998. I came back to GR again in 2004 as the store manager at the Wyoming location.
After 17 years, I left Office Depot. I am now working for Fusion Mobile as Director of Retail Partnerships.
I met my wonderful wife, Holly, in 1993 and we married in 1998. She gave birth to three of the most beautiful people I have ever seen, my daughters.
Lydia, my oldest, is in 1st grade at Saint John Vianney. Nora, my middle, is in kindergarten at Saint John Vianney. Our baby, Alyssa, will start preschool in her sisters footsteps at Saint John's in the fall '08.
