Lou Knudsen Lasher

Since 1964....many adventures, mistakes and fun. Survived flood, cancer, and life's "moments". Kept going to school, BA, MA, Ph.D. Found a great love. Married Dr. Bill Lasher in 1981..a widower with two little girls. They are big girls now with families of their own. Kristin is an audiologist; Claire is an actuary; both are bright, funny, loving women. And the grandchildren are great fun!

Bill retired from UT Austin after 35 years and I'm semi-retired so we now have more time to sing (with 3 different groups in Austin). Thanks Mr. Kasdorf. We also sing with the Berkshire Choral Festival which feeds our travel passion. Singing and working have taken us Europe, Asia, South America and the Middle East (Bill,not me). This year we went to Antarctica ....spectacular place!

Finally a recital of professional activity. Funny, for many years it would have the first thing I talked about. I worked for 20 years in higher education as a Counseling Psychologist, Asst. Dean of Students and Asst to Exec. Vice Chancellor at the University of Texas System. For the last 20 years, I've run my own business concentrating on organizational conflict and more recently, executive coaching.

One last note: I was surprised and delighted at seeing the list of my classmates. I was only at Norrix for two years, but you made an impression. I can't remember more recent colleagues and friends, but you are still in my memory. Look forward to seeing you. Lou Ann
