Hi Y'All! Life is Good!
-I graduated from CMU in 1975 - Studied Some / Partied Plenty. CMU gave me a Phys. Ed. BS teaching certificate and I did a bunch of substitute teaching.
-I've been happily married to Kim DeJong ('76 - little sister of Classmate Greg DeJong) since May 23, 1980. We have two sons: Aaron, married to Valerie on April 9, 2011 and Michael, married to Ashley on May 22, 2010. Solid, smart, sensible young men - Kim gets the credit!
-Retired in 2005 after 25+ years working as an Athletic Manager in the Michigan Department of Corrections. Good career, but decided to collect my pension and benefits and go find a real job. Retired from Community Action House in 2015 where I was the Resource Manager working with Mark Tucker. We were helping people and having fun!
-Lost my hair, found some weight, and enjoy working out at the Zeeland Recreation weight room. Love playing golf. I'm a traditional archery addict and spend as much time as possible in various State and National forests scouting, hunting or just covering ground with a longbow trying my best to get 'turned around' (never been lost).
-We love vacations on Royal Carribean Cruise Lines and at The Villages, FL in the warmer weather where we put our toes in the water, butts in the sand sipping on Long Island Iced Teas.
-Yup, Life is Good!
