Carolyn Troupe Stoll

Mike and I have been married for 38 years.

We moved to Punta Gorda, Florida in 1998. We lived there until September 2004 when Hurricane Charley destroyed our home. Our family asked that we move back home so we could enjoy all of our grandkids.

While we lived in Florida, friends asked us to join their praise, called the Grace Notes, at church. We sang at a lot of retirement places and for the National Florida Air Show in Punta Gorda. We performed for the Air Force, whose flying team gives a great air show. During the Holidays, all the stores have a big open house. One of them had us come to sing in front of their store evey year. There were other groups that also walked the streets and sang their music. Our group put together 3 or 4 CDs. My husband, Mike, did all the arrangements of the music and burned the CDs. I picked out the pictures to put on them and also the cover on the case. Mike and I also sang in an all church community choir that sang during all the other Holidays. It was a lot of fun, and we met a lot of people.

Now that we are back in Michigan, we sing in our church praise team, and Mike started our own group called Son Rise Singers. We have sung in some retirement homes. We are now looking for a new person to replace the soprano we lost.
