Today's Featured Biography
Victoria August
I am currently in legal sales working for Thomson Reuters in the North American Legal Division. My home is in Baltimore, but my customers in Washington D.C., so I am down there weekly.
I live with my boyfriend Carlos of 14 years and my dog Fiesta in downtown Baltimore near Fort McHenry.
I worked in the insurance industry for 14 years, which enabled me to get my law degree. When I passed the bar exam, I became trial counsel for State Farm Insurance, then worked for a firm in Baltimore. I left the practice in pursuit of a sales career, but my law license is current, should I decide to go back.
I love to walk my dog, work out, live music, travel, to do silly things with my girlfriends (see slide show) and I am an advid sports fan, with the Ravens and Orioles at the top of my list (GO BIRDS!).
I also am member of a beer club who travels around drinking cask conditioned ales whereever they are served. Belgians are my favorite, but I will never turn away a good Guinness!
I look forward to catching up with everyone in September. Hard to believe we have been out 25 years....
