It is with sadness that we let you know that Gail Mattson has passed. She did not survive surgery to correct a defect in her heart. She will be remembered with special affection by many of us.

Holly Saunders Hall
Simply Awesome! There are so many wonderful things to share.Life has been, and continues to be, a full to overflowing cup.
REtired from teaching K-5 visual arts: never a dull moment. Now pursuing my own painting as time permits and working at restoring/developing the landscape of a turn of the 19th century family home.
I continue to enjoy music,(my first profession) tho' only as a listener. I love to be outdoors or working with plants when I'm not working with children or doing art.
My husband, Jamie, whom I married in 1966 while pursuing my BA in Music and I are blessed with two awesome grandchildren (br.Jan. 2011 and, May 2013) and three very intelligent and focused children. Their lives have taken us from Vermont where John and Anne were born (following my getting my Masters and teaching high school art there) to Scotland, England, Germany, Miami, Boston, Montreal and throughout Europe.They've brought us backstage to share the thrill of their careers as world-class Ballet Dancers and into the arcane area of historical research to marvel at Scottish castles and historic economic changes.
Along the way I've sailed an inland lake scow at Martha's Vineyard, owned a 40' lobstering boat, kept and shown horses,gone camping and hiking, piloted a light airplane and flown across the country.
2013- working at the potter's wheel I feel sure my story isn't over!
Oops:update! April 2014-major back surgery; make that painting only! 2016-Work currently on exhibit in New Hartford, Canton,Chester, and New Britain CT.
