Today's Featured Biography
Kenneth Anderson
I live in Concord on Park Lane with my wife, Lynda, of almost 37 years. We have three children, Cato (age 33 married to Bill Boland's daughter, Alexa, works for McWalter Volunteer in Concord and they have a four month old son), Catharine (age 31, lives in Charlestown, sells internet advertising, single), and Ashley (age 27, single, lives in Bahamas and teaches middle math to disadvantaged children).
I have my own pension consulting company loated in West Concord on the third floor of the "Apple Storage Building" at the mill.
Over the years I have been actively involved in youth baseball and softball, Friends of CCHS Football, Concord Country Club, the Concord Carlisle Scholarship Fund among other things.
Since college, I have participated in a number of different sports including softball, hockey, touch football, golf, and squash as well as a regular (now over) regular program of running. As the years have gone by and the injuries have piled up, each sport has been dropped. I am down to golf (after switching from righty to lefty) and the ellyptical machine at Gold's Gym.
I enjoy reading, switching from fiction (Carl Hiaasen is a favorite) to non-fiction (recently read a number of books by David Halberstam and highly recommend The Children which is about college kids learning non-violent behavior to integrate lunch counters and then go on the freedom bus rides) as well as music. Ashley and I have an annual trip to Austin TX for a music weekend, taking in two or three shows a night for three nights with sightseeing by day.
