Today's Featured Biography
Kevin Coleman
It's been an interesting journey from AB...up to St. Anselm in Manchhester, NH where I had a great time, majored in Politics. Highlights included great friendships; working for ABC news during the 1984 Presidential Primary - was at Mondale headquarters with Brit Hume covering the speech; great teachers.
After graduation, my Dad passed after batteling multiple myeloma and leukemia.
I moved to DC, and attended George Washington University, majoring in Security Policy Studies. Interned with Cong Jim Shannon and then newly elected Sen John Kerry on the hill. Great experience. Joined a think tank, CSIS, doing aanalysis for the Political-Military section led by Dr. Harlan Ullman...the author of Shock and Awe who had a bit of shock and awe in his life as he was revealed to be a client of the DC madam. Joined ICF's Triton Defense Group in 1988 and met some fascinating people and worked on some good projects. By 1990 I joined TASC, a Boston-based company that started as a provider of guidance systems for the Apollo space program and the Navy's ballistic missiles. Worked on fascinating projects for great clients including Andrew Marshall of Net Assessment and SO/LIC. Supported the Acquisition Office and for 6 months worked in and office that was ground zero on 9/11, right where the planes hit.
In the meantime, got married, completed MBA at George Mason University, had 3 great kids.
Shifted careers in 1999, joining Lucent and moving to Annandale, NJ.
