Today's Featured Biography

Roxanne Evans Sahlin

I grew up in Minden, LA and graduated from Minden High School in 1972. I finished out a graphic art course that I began mid semester so that at graduation I began working part time as a fashion illustrator while I completed my course. Following graduation from the art program I became a full time fashion illustrator and creative designer.

Life had many twists and turns in store and at some point down the line I switched from art to photography and this became my passion in life.

I married late and had one terrific son. I weathered a divorce and stayed single for over a very long time until I met my soul mate, Doug and re-married in October of 2012. Doug is a best selling author of photography and tech books and a professional photographer and our first date was a photo shoot! Before we married we became business partners in our photography business, Doug Plus Rox Photography.

We live on Florida's Gulf Coast with our two cat family. Life is good!
