Today's Featured Biography
Angela Fobbe Eger
I married a hometown military man! His family resides in Ft. Thomas. We're currently stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, we've been here 11 years now, which is about how long we've been married! It's okay here, all military towns are alike. We're a few hours from the beach as well as any big city. So going clubbing is missed by us since we left Cincinnati!
We left Kentucky in the spring of 1996 to start our new adventure with the military. No one knew how far and how close it would bring us as a family. As everyone knows in a time of war when someone you love is deployed overseas you 'learn to lean' on your closest friends as well as your family because they are all that's here!
Currently, my husband Kris is gearing up to leave again for another tour overseas, as well as my son Brandon who is in the Air Force. Tim is living in Kentucky persuing his goal of college. Brooke the 'lil Angela' as my husband says, is 8 and is a very outgoing child.
Some of you might find this story a little ironic since I know I was the definate wall-flower while in high school, with few friends, but I liked everyone! (I hold no grudge..we all adults now) I am working in radio promotions..that's right me the shy one, the one who never had a date for a dance in middle school and that crazy long term boyfriend in high school, is out there doing radio promotions. Which entails, being very outgoing, outspoken, having a great personality and being professional always. I love my job. I"m out with the public most weekends doing promotions and I have done many commercials...I just find it funny when I tell my husband I was shy and reserved in high school and didnt have many friends to hang with..now that's totally changed! (he doenst believe me)
We try to travel back home when our schedules allow, so I"ve missed all the the reunions. I really would like to get in touch with many of you to catch up. Julie Finkensteadt-Nickles and I are in touch, where is everyone else we use to hang around???
