Well after graduating I moved to Kansas City to go to electronics school. I managed that for almost 9 months before meeting my first wife Susan. I moved to Bethlehem, Pa in 1972 and I have been here ever since. Once arriving in Bethlehem I started working at Bethlehem Steel. I worked there for 13 years, the I started working for a small company named Micro Specialty Systems. We supplied service and calibration services to many Heat Treat Facilities in the area. I was able to use what I learned at Bethlehem Steel to make that happen. I later joined a larger company named Heraues Electro-Nite they manufactured systems and devices used in the manufacturing process for Iron Foundries and Steel Companies throughout the U.S
I bounced around after that and held many jobs while becoming certified as a Draftsman and used those skills until just before turning 62 when I got laid off and it became evident that meaningful employment was not coming my way. While doing tat I became a part time Bookseller @ Barnes & Noble here in the area and spent nearly 14 years there until hanging up the bookselling gloves this past year December 31st 2020.
I have been married more than I want to admit but in 2003 I met and started dating my current wife Karen and we married in 2006 and are going strong. I have no children from any previous marriages but I am very active in Kiwanis here in PA and I sit on the board of the Miracle League of Northampton County. So all of the kids I have met through both of these ventures are my kids.
I am hoping to make our 50th Reunion as over the past few years I have visited Kansas and have been able to connect with a few folks from our class.
