After graduation, I went to Kansas State University. While there I roomed with Naomi (Funston), met my future husband, wrote for the university newspaper, roamed Aggieville, and worked at the university radio station.
I graduated with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications - Advertising.
I got married to Kevin in 2003. He and I are very much alike and he is my best friend! He grew up in Manhattan and played football there.
Since getting married, Kevin and I moved to Kansas City for our jobs. He is a project manager for R/S Electric. I had been working at Zuva Marketing, a full-service advertising agency, but I have recently accepted a position at Walsworth Publishing and I am very excited about the change.
In 2006, I gave birth to a beautiful, flirty, and rambunctious baby boy, Jackson.
In my (very little) spare time, I love to watch movies, play with my son and husband, read, and of course write. I am currently working on several literary projects that may one day yield very positive results.
I have kept in touch with a few people from high school, but I hope that the last few years have been great for all of my former classmates. I look forward to the opportunity to find out what everyone has been up to.
